As well as creating websites from scratch, KP can update your existing site, give it a new home, or review it and advise on ways to make it more effective. Within the Reading area, we can install PC equipment and set up internet connections, and help with general computer problems.New sites
KP specializes in sites for clubs, charities and small businesses. Each one is built to a specification agreed with the client, using an appropriate development method. For some, that means coding each page individually, for others, we will use a framework such as Wordpress or MODx, tailoring elements as required. You supply the content (text and pictures); we help you polish it for publication.
During development, you can see a private draft of your site on the web. Once it is live, we will host it for three months and make adjustments as needed. After that, you can continue hosting with us, or we can pack the site up for you to install elsewhere.
All KP sites feature content management as standard, so you can log in to a web page and update your text and pictures. If all you need is occasional minor changes, such updating a phone number, we'll be happy to do that for you at no extra charge.
Cost depends on the amount of work involved. As a rough guide, you could expect a site with five or six pages (a home page, organizational profile, contact page, events calendar, news page and photo gallery) to cost £200-250.
